Responsibilities
Communicate and explain new initiatives, directives, policies, and procedures to Site Leaders and leadership teams for major changes, meet with operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale
Ensure that controls are in place to analyze, react to, and minimize cost factors of labor, material, and burden in the manufacturing and distribution center operations
Determine operational effectiveness of sites and ensure consistent, continuous improvement through appropriate management process
Oversee network strategy for the category by interfacing with appropriate teams concerning operation capabilities, cost, and quality considerations
Develop and maintain retail division relationships to assist in create synergies between supply chain and retail, improving the flow of product
Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide coaching, development, and succession planning to direct reports and at the site level
Qualification
Required
10+ years experience as a Logistics Site Leader in Distribution
10+ years of experience with Direct To Consumer, (DTC) in Retail
Continuous Improvement, (CI) experience spanning over multiple distribution centers
Experience with warehouse operations, inventory management, and transportation
Strong financial acumen and vast experience managing capital budgets
Strong people leadership skills
Bachelor degree in Engineering or Organizational Development
