Quality Systems Intern

Tactile Medical specializes in developing at-home therapy devices for chronic illnesses and is offering an internship opportunity for a student to gain professional experience in Patient Services. The Quality Systems Intern will work closely with mentors on the Quality Systems team, engaging in meaningful projects and learning how to maintain quality systems while contributing to the company's mission of improving patient lives.

Responsibilities

Support the final resolution of any internal audit findings
Conduct spot audits of records and procedures in preparation for a recertification MDSAP audit by Tactile Medical's Notified Body
Participate in the recertification MDSAP audit by Tactile Medical's Notified Body
Support any required remediation activities following the recertification audit
Prepare summary documentation of the audit, complete CAPA's, and help guide tasks to completion across various teams
Attend cross functional team meetings on various quality system related projects
Learn practical ways to maintain a quality system and how to use industry specific software systems
Exposure to product complaints, regulatory processes, and the importance of a functional quality management system
Present project work, experiences, and learnings during final week of internship

Qualification

Quality SystemsSupply Chain ManagementMicrosoft Office SuiteAcademic track record

Required

Enrollment in an accredited bachelor's degree program as a rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Management or similar discipline
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Strong academic track record (GPA of 3.0 or above)
Able to commit to the full 11-week internship working 40 hours per week

Preferred

Relevant Quality Systems coursework or experience relating to internship
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and others)
