Electrical Battery Engineer III

Responsibilities
Apply engineering techniques, principles, and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, and evaluate electrical, electronic, mechanical, and communications systems
Review, analyze, and prepare engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, and procedures
Organize, analyze, and present technical data in reports and presentations
Plan and perform tests and evaluations of systems, equipment, and components
Compile, process, and analyze test data results
Provide subject matter expertise on operation, installation, modification, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment and components
Qualification
Required
Expertise in Batteries and Energy Storage, and knowledge of charging systems and performance optimization
Experience with electrical CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer), simulation software like (MATLAB/Simulink), and potentially programming languages like C++ or Python
Strong foundation in power system design and circuit analysis
Proven (R&D) experience with innovative engineering solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; commitment to quality and continuous improvement processes
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
Experience with industry standards and best practices for battery systems; familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100 quality systems is a plus
10+ years of experience in an Electrical Engineer, Electronic Engineer role
Desired 3+ years of experience with Batteries and Energy Storage
Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering discipline, or other technical discipline
Direct experience developing, designing, modifying, installing, testing, evaluating and operating electrical, electronic, mechanical, or systems, and equipment
Demonstrated experience reviewing, analyzing, developing, preparing, and applying engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures
Direct experience preparing and presenting technical reports
Experience performing test and evaluation of systems equipment and components
Direct Experience with the operation, installation, modification, troubleshooting, and maintenance of said equipment
