Disbursement Specialist
Shelter Mutual Insurance Company is dedicated to serving its clients and is currently seeking a Disbursement Specialist. The role involves processing disbursements, supplier invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities
Create Ad Hoc client information in Workday
Process Ad Hoc disbursements, supplier invoices, and produce checks/EFTs for payment of bills and miscellaneous disbursements of all Shelter Insurance Companies
Process voids and stop payments against check system
Audit proper expense coding, ensure attachment of proper documentation, and input data into Workday
Input cash slip data into system
Process Due Diligence and Outstanding Check letters for uncashed checks
Work to ensure compliance with unclaimed property filings
Qualification
Required
Basic math and accounting skills for balancing and reconciling ledger transactions
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
Excellent computer and typing skills
Ability to keep a steady work schedule with regular, predictable attendance to ensure a steady workflow and minimal disruption to department schedules and deadlines
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation
