Payroll & Finance Associate - Fully Remote
H&H Talent Solutions is recruiting for Agile Partnering, a fast-growing company in the financial and professional services sector. The Payroll & Finance Associate will support the finance team with payroll, invoicing, and related administrative functions to ensure processes are accurate, timely, and dependable.
Staffing & Recruiting
Responsibilities
Queue and process U.S. and Canada payroll for W-2 employees and independent contractors
Collect, audit, and process timesheets
Send supplier remittances for suppliers with multiple workers
Process monthly margin payments to clients
Review payroll for accuracy and completeness
Handle manual adjustments (sick leave, corrections, etc.)
Respond to payroll-related inquiries via shared inbox
Send weekly and monthly client invoices
Track purchase order balances and usage
Submit weekly workers’ compensation prospect notifications
Audit monthly benefits invoices
Support recurring finance and administrative tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
1–3 years out of school or equivalent professional experience
Degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or related field preferred
Military, finance, logistics, or administrative experience strongly welcomed but not required
Strong academic background (3.7 or higher) to the front of the line
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational skills and comfort managing recurring deadlines
Solid Excel skills (sorting, formulas, basic lookups; advanced skills a plus)
Clear, professional written communication
Process-oriented, steady, and reliable
Takes ownership of work and follows things through
Enjoys checking off task lists and supporting others
Curious enough to understand the 'why,' disciplined enough to follow the 'how'
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Preferred
Competitive teams or sports background a plus and highly desired (Debate, Math, Football, Tennis, etc)
