Responsibilities
Duties may include engineering support related to wastewater collection systems, capital improvement projects, development review, construction support, and coordination with internal staff, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies
At the Associate Engineer level, incumbents may be assigned lead or project management responsibilities on wastewater capital projects
Qualification
Required
Educational achievement equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in civil engineering
Possession of an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate from the State of California
At least three (3) years of civil engineering experience involving design and construction of wastewater infrastructure, including some supervisory experience
At least one (1) year of full-time experience in civil engineering in the area(s) of design or construction of wastewater infrastructure
Preferred
Possession of California registration as a Professional Civil Engineer is desirable
