Precision CNC Machine Operator
Howmet Aerospace Inc. is a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries. The Precision CNC Machine Operator will set up, operate, and maintain various CNC machines while ensuring quality and production records are maintained.

Responsibilities
Perform precision machine set-up and wheel changes in assigned workstation within standard set-up times
Maintain all quality and production records including tooling calibration, daily walk around, etc
Maintain productivity, utilization, schedule and quality records and comply with all standards
Perform inspection of non-certified operators
Assist with training of Machine Trainees as required
Perform Productive Maintenance duties
Maintain 6S and other area housekeeping standards
Participate and actively promote continuous improvement activities
Achieve and maintain certified status
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED
Use of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers including decimal and fractions; simple use of formulas, charts tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, writing diagrams, computer scanning devices, use of adjustable measuring instruments; checking of reports, forms, records and comparable data; interpretation is required involving basic skills knowledge
Ability to plan, perform and make decisions as to the sequence of set-ups, operations and processes
Ability to interpret and follow instructions, prescribed routines, methods and practices
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred
2 year of related machining experience (manufacturing, industrial, labor related experience)
