Home Screen UI Engineer
Apple is seeking a proactive and highly skilled UI engineer for their Home Screen team to build delightful user experiences for millions of users around the world. The role involves prototyping new user interface paradigms, implementing new features, defining APIs, fixing bugs, and improving performance, while collaborating with various teams across the company.

Required
5-10 years of experience doing one, or multiple of the following: Developing apps with UIKit and/or SwiftUI, Architecting and implementing reusable public or private APIs, Operating systems programming
Excellent understanding of software design
Good debugging skills
Eagerness to work hard and learn a lot
Eye for detail and a feel for making user interactions feel fluid and fun
Good understanding of systems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Excellent understanding of optimization and performance issues across OS software layers
Understanding of inter-process communication and systems development
