Responsibilities
Manage all phases of plaintiff-side employment litigation, including case strategy development, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation
Represent clients in state and federal courts, as well as administrative proceedings
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
Handle client communications with professionalism, compassion, and responsiveness
Collaborate with team members to drive cases toward successful resolution through settlement or trial
Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations on behalf of clients
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
5-7 years of experience in plaintiff employment litigation
Strong knowledge of California employment laws, including FEHA, FLSA, wage & hour, wrongful termination, retaliation, and harassment matters
Proven litigation experience with a desire to continue handling active caseloads
Exceptional writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
Ability to work onsite and thrive in a collaborative team setting
Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
