Responsibilities

The Human Resources & Accounting Specialist is a hybrid of HR administrative and accounting duties

This position will assist associates and applicants with a variety of tasks and perform accounting functions

Such tasks include but are not limited to, associate relations activities, recruiting/interviewing, record keeping, payroll processing, financial reporting, and benefit enrollment

Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including interviewing and onboarding

Process I-9s in E-Verify

Onboard new employees into the HRIS system

Schedule, complete property tours, and provide introductions for new hires first day

Assist employees with benefits and open enrollment

Enter all tips daily and gratuity from banquet events into the payroll system

Approve and manage payroll on time

Count and manage cash deposits every week

Conduct bank audits with the General Manager

Retrieve cash from guest laundry and deposit

Scan, code, file, and research invoices for payment

Coordinate and run all employee social events

Provide documentation, investigate, and discipline

Maintain all employee files confidentially

Provide assistance where needed
