FWAS Program Coordinator Pool - Site Supervisor ACE 21CCLC (Grant Funded Position)

Fort Worth ISD is seeking a FWAS Program Coordinator Pool – Site Supervisor for their After School Program. The role is responsible for the daily operations at the assigned program site, overseeing the delivery of experiential and Social-Emotional Learning based programs for participants, and ensuring a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

Oversees marketing/advertising program (such as social media, fliers, posters, phone calls, bulletin boards, marquees, school website, and so on)
Recruits students and their families most in need of academic improvement; maintains contact with parents or guardians of program participants
Solicits school staff, college students, parents, and volunteers to work in the FWAS program
Integrates and collaborates with other school and community resources
Recruits volunteers and solicits in-kind donations from individuals and organizations
Submits requisitions to appropriate FWAS staff; receives and processes purchase orders
Reviews KRONOS punches from program teachers at the end of each payroll period
Reviews and submits KRONOS time sheets and multiple budget forms each month, if applicable
Collects and submits Monthly School Invoices (MSI) to grant coordinator
Meets regular student and adult participation goals, as specified by program guidelines
Adheres to program frequency requirements, including minimum number of days, hours per week, and days per week, as specified in grant
Develops activities that address all program components: 1) Academic Enrichment, 2) Physical Enrichment, 3) Fine Arts (Visual or Performing), and 4) Community Service/ Service Learning
Complies with number of hours worked weekly depending on funding source (Local or TEA 21st Century Funds)
Distributes, collects, and maintains FWAS registration forms for all participants
Creates and upholds a current activity schedule
Keeps a sign-in sheets for all student and family activities
Enters student and family attendance into the TX21 database daily, and all other required data as requested, if applicable
Meets with the assigned administrator and FWAS Project Coordinator monthly; meets with the school lead weekly, if applicable
Coordinates after school transportation and dinners for students
Follows FWISD and FWAS field trip procedures, including submission of required paperwork
Maintains program equipment and supplies inventory
Submits all required paperwork, including documents for the ACE PRIME assessment binder and Annual ACE program plan by due date, if applicable
Trains staff and volunteers on FWAS policies and procedures
Develops and administers regularly scheduled meetings and trainings for staff
Follows established safety procedures (such as being visible at all times during programming hours, ensuring that Specialists and Teachers engage in no unsupervised activities with student participants, and so on)
Corrects unsafe conditions onsite and promptly reports any issues that are not immediately correctable to supervisor

Performs all job-related duties as assigned and in accordance with Board rules, policies and regulations. All employees are expected to comply with lawful directives in rare situations driven by need where a team effort is required

Required

Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in Education or related field required
4 years' working with high risk children and their families
4 years' supervisory work with small-medium sized teams

Preferred

Master's degree from accredited college or university in Education or a related field
Experience in 21st Century ACE or After School summer programs
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred in some settings
