Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the distribution center, including physical assets, operating costs, safety, loss prevention, inventory integrity, and team members
Responsible for managing all distribution center expenses and for approval and sign-off of all expenses
Responsible for the service to our stores by maintaining on time delivery, accuracy of shipments and good customer relations
Ensure that the distribution center is compliant with company operations, policies, and procedures daily
Responsible for the management of all salary and hourly team members
Provide excellent leadership, training, and guidance throughout the DC and work to ensure productivity and morale are maintained at a high level
Work with Regional DC Director to establish annual goals and the plan to follow for accomplishing those goals
Work closely with Human Resources team to support team members and others as needed to ensure effective recruiting, hiring, and training practices
Responsible for on time evaluations of all team members
Work with Regional DC Director to prepare annual operating, labor, and capital expenditure budgets
Ensure a safe working environment and aggressively manage all risk and risk related costs
Other duties needed to meet DC and corporate objectives as assigned by the Regional DC Director and Senior Vice President of Distribution Operations

Required

High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
Excellent leadership and people skills
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Above average computer skills
Must be able to oversee multiple tasks at one time and prioritize accordingly
4+ years of successful management or assistant management in a distribution center

Preferred

College degree or logistics certification
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
