Anne Arundel Dermatology is dedicated to providing exceptional care in dermatology and is currently seeking a Lab Assistant 1 to join their SkinPath Solutions team in Symrna, Georgia. The role involves keying patients into the lab system, managing case numbers, handling patient records, and performing various lab duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Keying patients in to the lab system

Assign case number to specimen, slides and cassettes

Pulling & filing patient records for doctors, client services and lab

Matching up patient records & QC patient records

Changing Solutions out of the processors

Changing solutions out of the stainer

Filling client supply orders

Putting up supplies

Other duties assigned as deemed necessary by management

Qualification

Associates DegreeLab experienceStandEffective communication

Required

Completion of an Associates Degree (Required)

The ability to stand for the duration of the 8 hour shift

The ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff

Preferred

Lab experience is preferred by not required
