On Call Scheduling Coordinator

Responsibilities

Ensure zero open hours for same day/next day and non-business day shifts, ensuring all shifts are filled
Minimize overtime hours utilized
Respond to the on-call emergency line during weekends, holidays, and after hours
Manage and document time off requests and incidents received during weekends, holidays and after-hours
Manage Caregiver missed clock-ins and clock-outs
Coordinate schedules around Client admissions and discharges
Record Client and Caregiver shifts or activity changes
Update the healthcare management platform with schedule and shift information
Track EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) data in the scheduling platform

Required

Maintain regular, reliable and predictable attendance
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others
Respond promptly and professionally to business needs, client concerns, caregiver issues, and operational disruptions
Maintain accurate, timely and compliant records and documents
Exercise sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Communicate clearly and professionally with caregivers, clients, families, and internal teams
Adhere to all company policies, confidentiality rules, safety requirements and regulatory obligations including HIPAA
Work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environment, adjusting to shifting priorities and performing the critical day-to-day duties independently with minimal supervision
High School Diploma or equivalent required

Preferred

At least 1-2 years of experience in scheduling or a related field preferred
Experience in home care, healthcare, or a related service-based industry preferred
