Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and post-event analysis of internal and external hackathons
Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership, engineering teams, and marketing
Design an intuitive and frictionless journey for participants, ensuring they have the right documentation, APIs, and support to build successfully
Curate challenges and themes focused on Generative AI and Agentic Workflows, helping participants leverage cutting-edge tools
Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure hackathon outcomes align with the company's long-term technical roadmap
Qualification
Required
Education: MBA or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience: 3+ years of experience specifically planning and conducting large-scale hackathons or developer-centric events
Technical Literacy: A deep understanding of developer workflows. You don't need to be a full-time coder, but you must 'speak developer' fluently to provide high-quality DX
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite executives and inspire grassroots developers alike
Preferred
AI Knowledge: Hands-on familiarity or working knowledge of the Generative AI landscape (LLMs, prompt engineering) and Agentic AI (autonomous agents, multi-agent systems)
Community Building: Experience in growing developer communities or managing Open-Source initiatives
Analytical Mindset: Ability to track and report on KPIs such as participant retention, project viability, and ROI
