Strategic Account Director - B2B Tech Lead Marketing Strategist, Account Growth

Responsibilities
Lead a book of business consisting of two to five B2B accounts with accountability for revenue, margin, retention, and expansion
Own the overall client relationship, serving as the primary senior point of contact and collaboration
Proactively identify growth opportunities by aligning Centerline capabilities to client business priorities
Develop and maintain account plans that define strategic goals, engagement scope, success metrics, and expansion paths
Ensure profitable delivery across all engagements through strong financial oversight and scope control
Lead upfront strategic engagements that diagnose client business challenges and marketing objectives
Translate business goals into clear strategic direction across messaging, channels, campaigns, and experiences
Conduct and guide work such as audience analysis, competitive and market assessment, messaging frameworks, and campaign strategy
Develop actionable strategic recommendations that inform execution roadmaps, budget and timing
Confidently challenge client thinking and guide decision making using insight, data, and experience
Ensure all work is anchored to business outcomes and client success
Guide internal teams by translating strategy into clear direction, priorities, and success criteria
Partner closely with creative, strategy, project management, and content leads to ensure alignment and quality
Monitor overall account and project health across budgets, timelines, resourcing, and deliverables
Serve as a point of escalation for internal teams and clients, resolving issues quickly and effectively
Provide mentorship, feedback, and development support to direct reports and extended team members
Define success metrics and measurement frameworks aligned to client business objectives
Review performance regularly and lead conversations around results, insights, and optimization
Ensure learnings from feedback and insights inform future strategy and recommendations
Communicate impact clearly and confidently to senior client stakeholders
Represent Centerline as a senior strategic partner with credibility across B2B technology industries
Understand and articulate Centerline’s full suite of capabilities as business solutions
Contribute to the evolution of Centerline strategy offerings, frameworks, and ways of working
Model strong leadership behaviors rooted in accountability, collaboration, and client impact
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical skills for identifying trends, interpreting data, and making informed decisions
Experience with strategic planning and development of marketing strategies to drive results
Competency in account growth management to meet organizational goals
Exceptional communication, client relationship, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, a related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred
Experience in B2B technology marketing
