Fresh Water Systems, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Accountant to support their finance team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with monthly close activities.

Responsibilities

Identify and help execute process improvements

Create and structure G/L for small business

Create and structure Fixed Asset schedules

Assist in month end closing

Prepare and file all sales tax on a timely basis

Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness

Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and adjustments

Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations

Review financial transactions for accuracy and proper classification

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable regulations

Assist with audits by providing documentation and explanations as required

Other duties as assigned by manager
