Chief Marketing Officer - Volunteer
The Sentinel by Yuvoice is a dynamic organization dedicated to amplifying diverse voices and fostering meaningful conversations. The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will lead marketing efforts, developing and executing strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive growth while being a key member of the executive leadership team.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with Yuvoice's business goals
Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance
Collaborate with other executive team members to ensure marketing initiatives support overall business objectives
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth
Strengthen and elevate the Yuvoice brand, ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity across all channels
Develop and execute brand awareness and public relations campaigns to increase market visibility and recognition
Oversee media relations, press releases, and strategic communications
Manage and build relationships with key media outlets and influencers
Develop and implement crisis communications plans
Lead the podcast team to develop and implement a podcast strategy to enhance brand awareness, thought leadership, and audience engagement
Oversee the production and distribution of high-quality podcast content
Utilize podcasts as a tool for public relations, thought leadership, and customer engagement
Measure and report on podcast performance
Develop and execute multi-channel demand generation programs to generate qualified leads and drive revenue growth
Implement and optimize marketing automation and CRM systems to improve lead management and conversion rates
Manage and optimize digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing
Collaborate with product management to develop compelling product positioning and messaging
Lead the development of marketing materials, including website content, sales collateral, and presentations
Plan and execute product launches and marketing campaigns
Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track marketing performance against goals
Oversee all marketing related vendors and agencies
Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and identify areas for improvement
Prepare and present regular marketing reports to the executive team
Implement and utilize marketing attribution models
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Minimum of 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role
Strong understanding of digital marketing, demand generation, brand management, public relations, and podcast production
Experience in the [Insert Industry/Sector - e.g., SaaS, AI, communication technology] industry is highly desirable
Proven ability to build and lead high-performing marketing teams
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
Experience with marketing attribution and data analysis
Experience with international marketing is a strong plus
