Responsibilities

Help build the future of VPG’s Spatial Capture products
Work at the intersection of media processing, image and video quality, computer vision, and stereo perception
Build with GPUs, neural coprocessors, math, creativity, and a careful eye to image quality
Solve complex technical challenges
Create products that will inspire millions of Apple’s customers

Qualification

C/C++Image processingVideo processingAR/VR technologiesMachine learningIOS/macOS developmentAnalytical thinkingEnd user experienceProblem solvingCollaboration

Required

BS is computer science/EE or equivalent
5+ years of experience with software development
Experience with image and video processing
Excellent programming skills and proficient with one of the programming languages: C/C++, Objective-C, and Swift
Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills
A strong focus on end user experience
Creative and collaborative approach to problem solving, and a drive to build products that surprise and delight

Preferred

Success shipping media products involving image and video processing, video capture/playback, or media processing pipeline is a plus
Familiarity with AR/VR technologies
Experience with iOS / macOS development
Experience with developing media SDKs, frameworks and customer facing APIs
Hands-on experience with core machine learning algorithms and tools
Experience with media formats (HEVC, H264, JPEG, etc)
