Property Transactions Agent - (Salt Lake City, UT) - #114173

As the Property Transaction Agent, you'll perform fee property transactions as well as easement dispositions for the company, ensuring that permitting and land use requirements are met for acquired properties.

Responsibilities

Independently perform moderately complex property transactions involving raw land, commercial, industrial, and other property, including purchase and sale of property, purchase and sale of easements
Perform company-related property permitting through projects and interactions with internal and external customers and jurisdictions, with or without aid of a consultant
Manage a number of transactions
Manage and/or engage in projects that involve inter-disciplinary teams across internal business units
Perform project tracking, reporting, including regulatory submissions, data requests and fiscal reporting
Review and develop documents such as purchase and sale agreements, easements, leases, rights of entry and other associated documents
Participate in public interactions and communication through formal and informal presentations to various groups, representing department and company
Ensure that property transactions are performed and documented per company and department policies and meet corporate governance and other reporting requirements

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
A minimum of three years' experience performing commercial real estate transactions
Ability to effectively manage a portfolio of varied tasks/projects, while also focusing on detail
Communication and interpersonal skills involving the ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external parties
Ability to work with all organizational levels to influence actions and negotiate outcomes
Ability to listen and communicate effectively through oral and written means
Proficient with the use of personal computers to gather, analyze and summarize data
Ability to read and evaluate property-related legal descriptions, documents, and maps
