Responsibilities
Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions
Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software
Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems

Qualification
Required
0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience
BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Knowledge of the basic principles of computer science
Experience in C/C++ programming
Good oral and written communication skills
Desire and ability to learn new skills
Clearance: Must be able to obtain/maintain a minimum of a SECRET Government Security Clearance and advanced security checks
Preferred
Experience with micro controllers and embedded systems
Experience with real-time software development
Familiarity with Linux
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python
Digital Signal Processing experience
Experience with Matlab/Simulink
Experience with Labview
Experience with lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc
