The IT Specialist (Network Services) will oversee the planning, design, implementation, and management of networked systems, ensuring optimal performance and security of the infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Analyzes and defines network and/or server requirements
Defines and maintains network architecture and infrastructure
Configures and optimizes network routers, firewalls, switches, and servers
Configures and optimizes Citrix, Virtual Machine, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, or similar environments
Analyzes network workload
Monitors network and/or server capacity and performance
Configures and optimizes network and environment monitoring tools
Configures and optimizes SAN environment monitoring tools
Configures and optimizes Windows and/or Linux systems
Configures and optimizes Windows domain services to include DC, AD, DNS, DHCP
Configures and optimizes wireless environment to include controllers and Aps
Diagnoses and resolves network and server problems
Develops network and/or server backup and recovery procedures
Installs, tests, maintains, and upgrades network and/or server operating systems software
Ensures the rigorous application of information security/ information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services
Qualification
Required
Must pass all applicable records and background check
Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment
Must be willing to self-relocate to reside within the local commuting area of Millington TN
Knowledge of and skill in applying network design principles and concepts
Knowledge of configuration management concepts and practices
Knowledge of network topology concepts
Knowledge of network development principles and methods sufficient to develop and implement configuration management plans for complex, global networks
Knowledge of network administrator role and responsibilities
Knowledge of optimal and secure configuration of switches, routers, firewalls, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and other networking equipment
Knowledge of enterprise networks sufficient to develop requirements for the acquisition of network hardware, software, and services
Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems sufficient to administer and maintain various types of servers
Knowledge of Citrix, Virtual Machine, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, or similar environments sufficient to administer and maintain these platforms
Knowledge of cloud-based environments including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS service models
Knowledge of virtual environments, to include hypervisors, SANs, Blades, and Hyper-converged systems
Skill in monitoring network and/or server performance
Skill in analyzing network traffic patterns
Skill in installing network and/or software fixes and upgrades
Skill in analyzing/evaluating data and preparing reports
Ability to serve as network administrator
Ability to perform network diagnostics
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
