Escape is revolutionizing application security with their AI-powered Code-to-Cloud platform. As the Head of Sales for the US Market, you will lead North American expansion, manage a small team, and develop market strategies while carrying a significant sales quota.

Responsibilities

Manage, mentor, and develop 2 Account Executives and 1 BDR
Coach on complex, technical sales to security buyers
Hire 2-3+ additional team members in as we scale
Own the US market expansion strategy from ground up
Define target verticals, account segmentation, and territory design
Build relationships with C-suite executives and security leaders
Carry 50-70% of full quota yourself in Year 1 ($1.5-2M+ personal ARR)
Own and exceed quarterly/annual sales targets for US market
Manage full enterprise sales cycle ($50-150K ACV deals)
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales (security, procurement, legal)
Develop US sales playbook and methodologies
Ensure smooth handoffs to customer success teams
Represent US market voice in company strategy

Qualification

Required

5-9 years total in B2B SaaS sales
3-5 years in cybersecurity, AppSec, DevSecOps, or cloud security
1-2 years managing sales teams (AEs, BDRs, or SEs)
Proven track record selling $50K-150K ACV deals to enterprise security buyers
Experience at high-growth startups (Series A-C preferred)
Player-coach mentality - comfortable carrying quota while managing
International business experience - worked across time zones and cultures
Strong understanding of cybersecurity landscape and application security challenges
Can engage credibly with VP Security, Security Engineers, and DevSecOps teams
Comfortable with complex, technical products requiring training/POCs
Experience with multi-stakeholder enterprise sales (security reviews, procurement, legal)

Preferred

Sold ASM, DAST, SAST, or DevSecOps solutions before
Track record of 150%+ quota attainment
Experience opening and developing new markets from ground up
Modern sales methodology expertise (MEDDPICC, Challenger, etc.)
Previous work with international/distributed teams
