Responsibilities

Design mechanical systems, equipment, and fixtures
Integrate new technologies into equipment and processes
Analyze product flow and drive continuous improvements in quality and throughput
Troubleshoot mechanical systems and basic electrical troubleshooting
Work with electrical and software teams to integrate with the mechanical systems
Develop, document, and follow production processes
Support maintenance and operations with repairs, redesigns, and upgrades
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
5+ years' experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar role
Proficiency with SolidWorks and CAD software
Fundamental understanding of material strengths, dynamics, and manufacturing processes
Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools such as wrenches, drills, saws, etc
