Responsibilities

Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on ready-mix concrete plants

Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

Maintain and repair conveyors, batch plants, mixers, silos, belts, motors, gearboxes, and crushers (as applicable)

Respond to plant breakdowns and production issues to minimize downtime

Travel between multiple ready-mix plants to provide maintenance coverage and technical support

Assist plant operators and managers with troubleshooting and operational improvements

Support plant start-ups, shutdowns, and seasonal maintenance programs

Perform all work in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies

Identify safety hazards and recommend corrective actions

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all plant locations

Complete preventative maintenance inspections and document findings

Track maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment conditions

Recommend equipment upgrades or replacements to improve reliability and efficiency
