Responsibilities
Evolving and realizing the technical vision for Screen Time and working cross-functionality to align on that vision with partner teams
Breaking down the most complex technical challenges into the right phases and abstractions so the work can be distributed across the team
Purposefully and intentionally investing in the growth of junior engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent skills and work experience
Track record of success — you have 10+ years of SwiftUI/Swift or UIKit/AppKit/Objective-C software engineering experience with impact to show for it
Stellar engineering quality & output — you separate concerns and define well-abstracted interfaces, delivering performant, well-tested, maintainable code with appropriate failure modes
Technical leadership — you exemplify 'what good looks like' in code, in documentation, making and delivering on commitments, and prioritization
Critical thinking with influence — you systematically evaluate the tradeoffs associated with each potential solution to a problem, make an informed decision, and articulate these things well to influence others, driving impact
Preferred

Platform API design — you're proficient at designing, building, and supporting a platform, understanding customer needs and constraints
