District Manager

OpExpert- Consulting is seeking a District Manager to oversee three profitable uBreakiFix stores in Austin, TX. The role involves complete P&L responsibility, team leadership, and operational excellence to drive profitable growth and improve store performance.

Responsibilities

Drive profitable growth across Cedar Park ($70K/month), Round Rock ($70K/month), and West Parmer ($35-40K/month) locations
Optimize repair mix and pricing strategy to expand margins beyond current 20% opex
Build financial analytics to track profitability per repair type and make data-driven pricing decisions
Manage parts purchasing for better deals and reduced waste
Lead and develop 4 store managers and technical staff across locations
Own hiring, firing, and compensation recommendations
Implement scalable training systems for new hires and skill development
Coach technical trainer on complex repair specialization (motherboard, microsoldering) to increase high-margin repairs from 15% to 30% of revenue
Visit stores 2-3x weekly for real-time coaching and standards enforcement
Drive lead conversion from current 20% toward 40% target
Transform ATC (device protection plan) selling from discount-based to value-based approach
Maintain inventory integrity and customer satisfaction metrics
Prepare systems and training materials for new Lakeway-Bee Cave location (Q2/Q3 2025)
Learn the business, shadow managers, identify quick wins, establish accountability rhythm
Take full ownership, implement new systems, reduce owner's operational involvement by 50%
Owner's operational involvement approaches zero, measurable improvements in revenue growth, lead conversion rate improvement, margin expansion through repair mix optimization and pricing strategy, ATC clean selling adoption without discounts, team development with documented training systems

Required

3-5 years multi-unit retail or service management
Proven track record improving store profitability and team performance
Experience with inventory management and loss prevention
Strong analytical skills with ability to build and interpret financial reports
History of developing managers and building bench strength

Preferred

Electronics repair, automotive service, or technical retail background
Experience with franchise operations
Track record of improving lead conversion and customer satisfaction scores
Subscription or membership sales experience
Spanish language skills (customer base consideration)
