Start in 2026 SpringIrwin is seeking a Design Engineering Intern for Summer 2026. In this role, you will support the development of new products and improvements to current products while gaining exposure to various aspects of the product development process.

Responsibilities
Learn how to navigate Creo and Windchill
Assist with the drawing changes for Engineering Change Requests (ECN’s)
Working with various tools and equipment in engineering lab
Assist team members in daily activities and contribute to team discussions and meetings
Become familiar with mfg. processes and people here at Irwin
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Proficiency in Creo or similar CAD software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and contribute positively to group dynamics
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges whether great or small
