Responsibilities
Architect and sustain leading-edge multi-level A/V and computing solutions across our classified conference spaces
Spearhead the transition to next-generation voice and video solutions, working collaboratively with government sponsors to meet evolving requirements
Lead the seamless integration of network systems within our expanding infrastructure, coordinating with multiple external services
Develop and refine comprehensive system documentation, ensuring the creation of detailed diagrams and standard operating procedures
Evolve and maintain classified development networks by working to upgrade hardware and software
Work with security compliance team to develop creative solutions to meet the needs of users while remaining compliant with government policy
Qualification
Required
Thorough knowledge of videoconference hardware, software and network connections and experience troubleshooting complex technical issues
Experience architecting and implementing multi-level conference rooms and VTC systems for classified environments
Knowledge of physical and virtual network hardware and software component configurations
Knowledge of integrated A/V solutions, e.g. AMX, Creston, Extron, and/or Thinklogical
Experience building and maintaining mixed Windows and Linux networks in isolated environments including setting up Active Directory, file shares, repository mirroring (e.g., APT, PyPI), collaboration services (e.g., Confluence, Jira.)
Knowledge of automation techniques and infrastructure-as-code approaches for deployment of systems and services with tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, MDT/SCCM/Intune
Experience setting up and running small networks (configuring Cisco IOS for switching, routing, VLANs, etc.)
Experience with local and server-based virtualization technologies (e.g., VMWare ESX, vSphere, etc.)
Experience hardening Windows and Linux systems using STIG configurations
Familiarity with collaboration technologies including VoIP phones and unified communication systems
Familiarity with RMF and derivative processes (DoD 8510, JSIG, ICD-503, CNSSI 1253.)
Familiarity with relevant government security regulations (NISPOM, JSIG, ICD503, TEMPEST.)
Experience supporting and training users on IT hardware and software components
Familiarity with deploying commercial IT offerings and developing creative solutions
Experience working within a team and supporting multiple systems at the same time
Excellent knowledge of Windows operating system: configuration, installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Experience installing, configuring and operating network services such as DNS, DHCP, NIS, NFS, SSH, SAMBA, AD
Conduct network, system, and application vulnerability scanning, configuration assessment, and remediation
Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
5+ years of experience with supporting information technology and Bachelor's Degree (additional years of experience can be considered in place of degree)
DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II, at a minimum Security+ certification (candidate will need to obtain within 6 months if they currently do not possess this certification)
Currently holds a Top Secret Clearance
Hands-on experience working with audiovisual media and hardware - 3 years
Hardening Linux and Windows systems per RMF and DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides - 3 years
IT Security Policies (NIST/RMF/JSIG) - 3 years
Computer Networking (TCP/IP and UDP/IP communication) - 3 years
Powershell and Ansible (or other programming languages) - 3 years
Hardware: Intel/AMD, Cisco, Sun/Oracle, Dell, Apple, EMC, NetApp - 3 years
MS Active Directory, LDAP - 3 years
SCCM, and Active Directory - 3 years
Strong Backup Experience and Proven Ability to Protect Mission Critical Data - 3 years
Systems Administration - 3 years
Technologies including DNS, DHCP, Proxy and Load Balancing - 3 years
UNIX platform, OSX, Cisco IOS - 3 years
Windows Patch Management - 3 years
Windows Server Administration (SCI classified environment) - 3 years
Windows Server Platform - 3 years
