Veronica Beard is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their Production Department in New York. The role involves daily communication with factories, managing schedules, and ensuring production standards are met in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.

Responsibilities

Daily communication with factories, problem solving and schedule management

Independently work on weekly WIP with factories to track progress

Attend weekly production meetings prepared with garment status updates/reports

Proactively help ensure all standards are met in production stage – cost, quality, delivery

Analyze and calculate COGS

Partner with Design, Product Development, and Merchandising to achieve target cost margin (understand costing breakdowns – fabric, trim, CM, duty & transportation)

Email follow-up in a timely manner

Manage and develop Overseas Production Assistant

Data entry and upkeep into ERP system

Assist with creating and maintaining POs in ERP system

Sample tracking, logging and review before handing over to tech team

Ensuring BOM’s are accurately maintained from collection handover to production

Reviewing and approving factory shipping documents and invoices

Communicate bulk shipments to Logistics

Partner with Raw Materials Team to maintain accurate EOM liability
