Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate IT Quality Assurance activities across global teams

Maintain compliance with corporate and divisional policies, procedures, and industry regulations

Oversee internal quality audits and supplier quality assurance programs

Manage quality event investigations and documentation (IT CAPA)

Ensure adherence to Abbott’s software lifecycle processes and quality systems

Develop and implement metrics to assess quality processes and systems

Coordinate external and internal audit activities and ensure inspection readiness

Represent IT Quality on cross-divisional process improvement initiatives

Set goals, assess performance, and develop growth plans for direct/indirect reports

Manage departmental budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities

Required

Bachelor's degree plus 7–10 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Strong knowledge of regulations and standards impacting the healthcare industry

Proven experience in quality systems analysis and IT compliance

Demonstrated leadership and team management skills

Ability to manage budgets and drive cost efficiencies

Preferred

Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

Expertise in software lifecycle processes and internal audit practices

Experience with supplier quality assurance programs

Familiarity with IT CAPA processes and quality event investigations

Strong analytical skills for developing and implementing quality metrics
