Optomi, in partnership with a client, is looking for an experienced Nutanix Engineer to join their team. This role will focus on managing and optimizing Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) environment, including Prism Central, Prism Element, Flow, Calm, and automation through APIs and Terraform.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Nutanix clusters and associated components (AOS, Prism Central, Prism Element)

Configure and optimize advanced Nutanix features such as Disaster Recovery (DR), Lifecycle Management (LCM), and Identity & Access Management (IAM)

Implement Nutanix Flow for microsegmentation and network security

Perform capacity planning and performance tuning across Nutanix environments

Develop automation scripts using Nutanix APIs and Terraform to streamline operational tasks

Integrate and manage storage solutions including Object Storage, NFS, S3-compatible storage, and Nutanix Unified Storage (NUS)

Experience with backup solutions such as Cohesity or other tools

3+ years of Nutanix engineering/architecture experience

Automation and scripting experience with Python, Powershell, or similar
