Walla Walla Sweets Baseball is offering a paid Operations Intern position for the summer of 2026. The intern will learn various aspects of running a baseball team, assist with stadium operations, and engage in customer service during home games.

Responsibilities

Learning the business of running a baseball team through assigned projects in areas of the business, including but not limited to community relations research and activation, ticket sales and service, corporate sales, service and activation, stadium operations, promotions, game operations, baseball operations, and finance and administration

Starting with preparation before our first game, you will be assigned to assist with stadium set-up and preparation for opening, as well as putting the stadium “to bed” every night, including but not limited to physical set-up of chairs and other stadium assets used for fans, the preparation of promotional giveaways, the cleaning of sections of the stadium appropriate to a public event and team standards, and other duties as assigned

During each home game, you will be tasked with operating a Sweets baseball game that will encompass the everything including but not limited to customer and fan service, on field promotions, food and beverage assistance, social media, and other duties as assigned

You will be assigned shifts to work the Sweets Shoppe before and during the season

These shifts are not mandatory and not guaranteed

Commission on ticket sales is available during non-office hours

For those who may need it, host families may be available to interns for summer housing

Transportation not provided from host family
