Responsibilities
Lead the maintenance team in maintaining the physical integrity of the community
Diagnose and fix issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, gas, appliances, structural, lighting, and security systems
Help team anticipate resident problems before they occur
Serve as the point person for creating a worry-free living environment
Fearlessly lead a team of technicians performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs
Share wisdom and insights with the team, prioritize tasks, and motivate them
Oversee and inspect the team's work, sometimes performing tasks yourself
Ensure the team is vigilant for areas of concern with a 'safety first' motto
Keep track of maintenance details, including service requests and preventive maintenance records
Manage service vendors, maintenance budget, and supplies inventory
Qualification
Required
Solid record of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repair experience
Impeccable record-keeping and reporting skills
Physical agility and mobility
Resourceful problem solver
Current EPA and CPO certifications
