They are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Operator / Programmer who can set up and operate CNC mills, modify and optimize existing programs, and maintain high standards for quality, efficiency, and safety.

Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC mills
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
Select correct tools, offsets, speeds/feeds, and workholding
Perform first-article checks and in-process inspection
Maintain consistent part quality and dimensional accuracy
Modify programs at the machine (G-code) to improve performance and reduce cycle time
Program jobs from scratch when needed (CAM preferred; manual acceptable depending on job)
Collaborate with management and QC to support continuous improvement
Work with 3D models and toolpath software to build or refine machining strategies
Assist with fixture concepts, modeling revisions, or machining approach discussions
Communicate clearly with the team when adjustments are needed for manufacturability
Qualification
Required
5+ years CNC milling experience (or equivalent demonstrated skill)
Strong knowledge of milling setups, tooling, and machining strategy
Ability to run complex jobs independently
Ability to adjust offsets and tooling confidently
Ability to modify machine programs as needed
Comfortable working from prints, sketches, and models
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Preferred
Experience with CAM programming (Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, etc.)
Familiar with 3D modeling software and toolpath generation
Experience machining tight tolerance parts
Experience machining downhole / oilfield components
Experience machining hardened materials or specialty alloys
Leadership mindset: willing to help others improve and share best practices
