Responsibilities
Own and drive test automation approaches and strategies
Execute functional, acceptance, compatibility, integration, and reliability testing through automated frameworks for both mobile and desktop applications
Collaborate with engineering teams across Apple Music, Apple TV+, Podcasts, and other Apple apps to design and maintain scalable systems that validate critical features across devices and backend services
Contribute directly to the development of test applications, frameworks, and tooling used for API and UI automation
Define testing strategies and work on infrastructure initiatives that improve the scalability, reliability, and intelligence of our test systems
Qualification
Required
Strong automation experience (automation >90% of daily work)
Hands-on experience testing iOS and macOS applications (tvOS, watchOS knowledge is a plus)
Experience developing test frameworks, tools, or test applications
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
Proficiency in: Swift, Python, Shell scripting
BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Preferred
Deep understanding of SQA methodologies and best practices
Ability to own an entire functional area of an application or system
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Interest or experience using AI/ML techniques to enhance QA efficiency and quality
