Responsibilities

Own end-to-end product design: user flows, low-fi sketches, polished UI, prototypes, quick experiments. From Figma to code

Build what you design — fast. Implement clean, modern front-end code (React/Next.js/Tailwind) to get ideas in front of users immediately

Work directly with the Outside Labs Product Lead to shape the product vision, roadmap, and first shippable versions

Help define the user’s journey through discovery, planning, inspiration, and booking

Craft simple, elegant experiences that sit on top of complex datasets (maps, geos, content, partners)

Continuously gather insights from lightweight testing, usage patterns, and rapid releases

Collaborate closely with engineering and API teams to push boundaries with real-time data, personalization, and geo-driven content

You know how to make interfaces feel good: motion, microinteractions, visual hierarchy, crisp UI

You're energized by ambiguity, zero-to-one building, and the adrenaline of early-stage problem solving

You thrive in a tight-knit, high-trust environment where everyone ships

You care deeply about craft, but even more about momentum

Preferred

Experience with travel, maps, routing, geo content, or recommendation systems

Experience designing for mobile-first, responsive UIs, or app-like web experiences

Prior startup or incubation experience
