Responsibilities
Core accounting functions, including A/P, A/R, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and cash tracking
Maintain accurate property-level accounting across multiple assets and entities
Prepare and analyze internal financial reports
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term cash flow planning
Manage and analyze existing loans and financing arrangements, including debt schedules and lender compliance
Oversee and process investor and partner distributions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Assist with annual audits and coordinate required documentation
Support timely and accurate tax filings across federal, state, and local levels
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Collaborate cross-functionally with acquisitions, transactions, and property management teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field
Minimum 6 years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and cash flow forecasting
Experience with property-level accounting, multi-entity structures, and consolidations
Advanced Excel skills and comfort with accounting platforms
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred
CPA or CPA track strongly preferred
Commercial real estate experience strongly preferred
