Responsibilities

Collaborate with the engineering management, teammates, product, design, data engineering, QE and cross-functional partners to deliver on the metrics and logging strategy
Lead software development work by writing code, answering questions and doing code reviews
Provide clear, timely and objective communication
Proactively identify issues and solutions, and marshal resources necessary to attack and resolve any issues related to your area of ownership

Production code instrumentationSoftware development experienceTechnical system architectureAnalytical thinkingClient side code developmentVerbal communicationWritten communicationProblem-solving skills

Required

Experience with instrumenting production code, including getting privacy approvals
Excellent coding skills in any programming language and strong understanding of data structures
Knowledge of technical system architecture and systems design tradeoffs
Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence
Client side code development experience

Preferred

5+ years of software development experience
