The role involves leading program-level meetings, driving Agile squad performance, and overseeing coordination between internal teams and vendor resources in the banking industry.

Responsibilities
Chair and lead program-level meetings and governance sessions
Serve as delegate for the Program Director in critical conversations and decisions
Maintain and communicate executive-level dashboards and delivery KPIs
Drive Agile squad performance across technical teams (Tech Leads, Developers, Testers)
Consolidate delivery plans and dependencies across multiple workstreams
Oversee coordination between internal teams and vendor resources (up to 50 60 people)
Navigate cross-functional alignment across business units and technology
Challenge vendors to ensure delivery accountability and risk mitigation
Support system integration and cloud migration efforts
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory mandates
Participate in talent planning and team-building efforts
Qualification
Required
Experience with Thought Machine or similar platforms (Temenos, Finastra, etc.)
Mandatory experience in retail or commercial banking transformation
Proven track record managing Agile squads and large-scale programs
Strong ability to challenge vendors and negotiate deliverables
Hands-on experience with complex integration projects
Ability to manage large teams (50 60 people) and influence senior stakeholders
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for executive reporting
Comfortable making educated decisions on behalf of leadership
Preferred
Previous experience with Canadian banking regulatory frameworks
Experience leading PMO setup in banking programs
Thought Machine implementation experience
Cloud migration expertise (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)
Experience leading delivery across hybrid/remote squads
