Responsibilities

Delivering high-quality, low-power graphics IP that meets performance, timing, and area goals
Exploring design trade-offs while exercising rigorous design principles
Understanding and contributing to pioneering micro-architectural specifications in order to design best-in-class GPUs
Collaborating closely with multi-functional teams in architecture, validation, modeling, and physical design

Qualification

GPU architectureSystem Verilog HDLLow-power techniquesTiming optimizationsHardware performance analysisScripting languagesInfluence skillsTeam collaborationCommunication skillsNegotiation skills

Required

BS degree
Minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience
Strong background in GPU, CPU, or SIMD architectures
Logic design, with expert knowledge of low-power techniques and timing optimizations
Expert knowledge in System Verilog HDL
Ability to drive bring up and debug of complex designs
Ability to work well in a team in order to be productive under aggressive product schedules
Strong communication, influence, and negotiation skills

Preferred

Experience designing GPU Schedulers, Execution Units, Texture/Pixel Units, or Caches
Detailed understanding of synthesis tools, timing analysis, floor planning, and the PNR flow
Experience in hardware performance analysis
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Perl
