Responsibilities

Performing modeling propulsion equipment
Deriving requirements for related sub-systems
Interact with Design Engineers, Material and Process Engineers, Suppliers, and Test Engineers to integrate the design within the Air Vehicle

Required

Enrolled in a B.S. Degree program such as Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent
Experience with Engineering Software Tools (3D/2D CAD)
Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills
Highly competitive and motivated to take ownership of commitments and meet objectives
Capable of managing complex tasks and drive them to successful outcomes
Able to work on-site in Stratford, CT
U.S. Citizen

Preferred

Ability to create designs including dimensioning and tolerancing
Experience with CATIA V5/V6/3DX
Knowledge of helicopter systems – engines, fuel, heat and vent
Ability to conduct pressure drop analysis from a first principles perspective
