Responsibilities

Serve as a key technical resource supporting both quoting and manufacturing operations

Work directly with customers to review drawings, tolerances, and functional requirements, then develop accurate designs, BOMs, routings, and cost estimates to support quotes

Help guide projects from initial inquiry through prototype and into production, keeping communication clear and timelines moving

Design fixtures and tooling in SolidWorks, support CNC machining and prototype builds, and collaborate with technicians and operators to improve quality, repeatability, and efficiency

Identify opportunities to reduce lead times, control costs, and streamline processes

Support product and systems development efforts, particularly related to scientific glassware and precision assemblies, and maintain accurate engineering documentation within the ERP system
