Responsibilities
Provide outreach support services to forensic PACT clients and medication supports as needed to clients living independently in the community
Provide side by side interventions to consumers that focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement. Assist the team and consumers in providing on-going assessment of symptoms and responses to staff interventions
Promote opportunities to participate in pro-social activities and interpersonal skill development
Provide assistance to consumers related to transportation to court, work sites, court mandated treatment, probation/parole meetings, daily activities, appointments or as needed/directed by supervisor
Qualification
Required
Must have a bachelor's degree in psychology, criminal justice, social work or related field with at least two years of experience with population
Must have the skills to establish supportive relationships with adults with mental illness who have limited social skills and experiences with histories of unsuccessful community tenure
Valid Massachusetts Drivers License
Preferred
Bilingual candidates fluent in a needed language may be eligible for a 6% salary increase
