Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to collect, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data
Optimize data workflows for scalability and efficiency
Collaborate with data architects to design and implement scalable data storage solutions such as data lakes, warehouses, and databases
Ensure adherence to best practices in schema design and data modeling
Integrate data from diverse sources, including APIs, databases, and third-party systems
Ensure data is clean, consistent, and reliable through effective validation techniques
Monitor and improve the performance of data infrastructure
Debug and resolve data pipeline or infrastructure issues promptly
Partner with data analysts, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver impactful solutions
Provide technical expertise on data-related initiatives and projects
Implement and enforce data security, privacy, and compliance standards
Maintain proper documentation for data pipelines, schemas, and workflows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is a must
5+ years of experience in data warehousing
Proficiency in ETL tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica)
Advanced knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Redshift)
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred
Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies
Certification in data warehousing or cloud platforms
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
