Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day electrical engineering support for a recycling and aluminum ingot casting operation
Design, evaluate, and maintain plant electrical power distribution systems
Perform electrical load calculations, equipment sizing, and system evaluations
Support arc-flash studies, electrical safety initiatives, and code compliance
Troubleshoot electrical issues involving motors, drives, furnaces, and casting equipment
Support maintenance and operations during breakdowns, outages, and equipment startups
Participate in capital projects related to electrical infrastructure and equipment upgrades
Develop and maintain electrical documentation, drawings, and standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
Experience as an electrical engineer in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
Strong understanding of industrial power distribution systems
Experience with load studies, short-circuit analysis, and arc-flash evaluations
Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, and electrical safety standards
Preferred
Experience in aluminum, steel, recycling, or metals processing
Exposure to PLCs or industrial controls (not required)
Experience supporting high-power or continuous process equipment
