Zeektek is seeking an experienced Okta Development Operations Engineer to support, develop, and optimize their enterprise identity and access management environment. This role focuses on Okta administration, integrations, automation, and operational support within a DevOps-oriented IT environment.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and administer Okta Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions across enterprise applications
Develop and maintain Okta integrations using SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SCIM
Manage user lifecycle automation (provisioning, deprovisioning, role-based access)
Configure and maintain Okta Universal Directory , MFA policies, and conditional access
Support CI/CD and automation efforts related to identity services and access workflows
Monitor Okta system health, troubleshoot authentication and access issues, and provide operational support
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure secure and scalable identity solutions
Maintain documentation and follow IAM best practices and security standards

Required

5+ years of overall IT experience
3+ years of hands-on Okta development and administration
Okta experience required
5+ years of experience in IT, systems engineering, or DevOps-related roles
3+ years of hands-on Okta development and administration experience
Strong experience with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM)
Experience integrating Okta with cloud and on-prem applications
Familiarity with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar)
Solid understanding of identity governance, access controls, and security principles

Preferred

Okta certifications (Administrator, Professional, or Developer)
Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience supporting enterprise-scale IAM environments
Background in DevOps or SRE practices
