The role focuses on deal sourcing by reaching out to potential investment opportunities and assessing them, with the aim of transitioning interns into full-time roles in the future.

Responsibilities
Utilize databases and internet research to compile lists of prospective acquisition targets
Create and execute outbound strategies that result in engaging business owners/CEOs in a discussion to sell—cold calls, cold emails, LinkedIn outreach, etc
Conduct introductory conversations with owners/CEOs of prospective businesses and build rapport
Qualify deal opportunities you generate against our investment criteria
Present market research and new investment opportunities to internal stakeholders
Complete ad hoc projects focused on sourcing workflows or Alpine’s investing strategy
Participate in a variety of firm-wide activities and team-bonding events
Qualification
Required
Expected graduation of Spring 2028 or Winter 2027 – interest in business, sales, entrepreneurship, or finance
Strong communication and organizational skills
Curious mindset, desire to learn, and ability to implement feedback
Self-starter that thrives in ambiguous environments
Relationship-driven and strong team player
