Responsibilities

Develop and operate highly reliable applications that serve Apple's diverse needs
Contribute across the full technology stack, including front-end, back-end, and APIs
Design and build robust Java-based solutions that power some of Apple’s most important workloads
Work effectively with colleagues in different locations and mentor junior engineers

Required

3+ years of industry experience
1+ year of Java development experience
Experience with both front-end and back-end frameworks, including a modern JavaScript framework
Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications and APIs
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle)
Fundamentals of system design, microservices architecture, and API development
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
BS in Computer Science or related fields or experience

Preferred

MS in Computer Science/related fields with 4+ years of relevant full-stack Java development experience
Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices
Experience with cloud-native development and deployment practices
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies
Familiarity with working with different Data Store technologies
Familiarity with working with GenAI/LLM's is a plus
