Responsibilities
As the Project Accountant, will be instrumental in financial operations. Primary responsibilities will involve managing client billing, with some exposure to government-related accounting tasks
Accurately process all accounts payable, including vendor invoice calculations and maintaining organized files
Efficiently handle accounts receivable by generating client invoices
Support the team with various other financial projects as needed
Qualification
Required
5 years of experience in an Architectural, Engineering, or General Contractor Firm (strongly preferred)
Foundational knowledge of accounting principles
Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant accounting software; familiarity with Sage software is a big plus
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to working effectively with diverse colleagues in a dynamic and occasionally demanding environment
The ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, sound judgment, and discretion
